Bottom Lintel

The screw between the 4x4 bottom lintel was huge: but since I didn't drill the full depth the screw was pluming through, at the end it was screwing into wood, so the bond was made stronger.

Cross Beam Lintels

Smaller pieces go horizontal between the uprights, as does the bottom lintel. This is the bottom lintel.

Supports

There are supports coming out from the face of the surface, creating a triangle to keep the weight going into the ground.

The supports are built to collapse back into the wall.

Wall Surfaces

There are 4 surfaces, each 8'x4'. Dad placed them on his own, a powerful feat.

The next step is to screw the surfaces to the supports: requiring 70+ screws each.

Uprights

A total of 3 upright beams will ultimately be placed, and 12 cross pieces making the frame, with a lintel at the top

Concrete (2 part)

Wet concrete surrounds the base snugly.

A good base.

because the prong is off center on some of the bases, we made small corrections.

All the prongs in their place: without the props.

Prongs+holes pt.2

the prongs fit in each hole: some are rather close to the edge after positioning, but we'll correct that!

The chain links the post to the post holder and the prong, and because of all the holes in the chain, it will be embedded in the concrete well. The other thing we payed attention to was that the concrete was not touching the wood, because wood will take in water and make the concrete less secure.
